And on the eighth day the Lord made Milwich. Well it’s such a beautiful rural locality set in the heart of Staffordshire it just had to have that little extra time spent on it.

Nestling on a hill on the edge of the village our ancient building is the home of a blend of Anglicans and Methodists in Local Ecumenical Partnership, unique in that we came together in the love of God of our own free will and without the normal red tape, for the last 27 years. This means that we enjoy varied styles of worship indeed; our motto is “We meet together to worship God and share each others joys and sorrows”.

As well as our links to the Methodist circuit, we are part of an Anglican group of ten churches, but all our services are “joint”, we are the same congregation whether it is Methodist, Anglican or lay led.

“Ancient” the building may be, but not the worshippers. We have a thriving “Kool Kids Club” aged 4 to 18 who enjoy their get-togethers’ in the “Den” and regularly lead us in our worship which may vary from a rave to something more sedate.

We are a bit like “Dibley” in that we are known in our community to go a little mad and race ducks down the brook, (plastic ones of course), However our faith as well as being fun is central to our lives. Within our community many of our members get involved in village activities including Coffee Shop, Lunch Club, WI, Garden Guild and Youth Club.

Whether you are 1 or 101, looking for a “holiday inn” or something a little more permanent, then head for All Saints.
