The Church at Rowley Street
Rowley Street, Stafford, ST16 2RH

Preston North End is one of the most famous and historic football clubs in the UK. Although, we cannot claim such a title, we are very much a group of people from the “North End” of Stafford (not Preston). Our building is based in a residential area, generally of the Victorian era in style of properties.

As we are very much part of this tight net community, our building is used almost everyday of the week. We run a monthly midday Luncheon Club for people to come and share time with one another. On other days our building is used by Girls Venture Corps, Rainbows, Ladies Group, Guides and Brownies. We have also linked up with detached youth workers from the County Council to run something called “The Groove” which is a drop in for teenagers, again from the local community. On occasions the local neighbourhood watch meet at the church and the building also plays host for local and national elections and we regularly host the Seventh Day Adventist Church which meets on a Saturday.

Our church is a small, very friendly group of people who are seeking to “connect” with the local community and ALL people are welcomed, irrespective of age, experience or faith journey.

Our Sunday worship begins at 10am and we alternate our styles of worship between Methodist and Church of England. This allows us to be flexible in all we do. We look forward to welcoming you to be part of our community.
