Revd Franzi Herring

Hi, my name is Franzi and I am a Nonstipendiary Minister in the United Reformed Church. I trained at Queens College Birmingham and was ordained in Walsall in 2003, serving there alongside my secular teaching job till 2011, pursuing Ministry in  the Workplace alongside one day a week of Church Ministry. In February 2012, Trinity Stafford called me to minister there for one day per week.

I am married to Michael and have two grown-up sons, Martin and Carl, and two grandchildren. My current main job is as a joint carer with Michael for his mother, who lives with us and has just had her 103rd birthday.

During the early days of my ministry, I was regional organiser for Retreats and Quiet Days. This interest continues. I am also a fully accredited Spiritual Companion and a prayer guide for Retreats in Daily Life.

I love gardening — especially organic food growing, cycling, walking and bird watching. I volunteer with House of Bread and serve as one of their Trustees.
