My name is Pauline Salter. I am the superintendent of the circuit. I came to Stafford in 2015 and this is my first Superintendancy. We have built on the good work begun in the past, and developed a team working style, with both ministers and lay workers playing an important role in the leadership of the circuit.
I have previously served in rural and urban settings. After my initial training, I studied at Cliff College for an MA in evangelism and mission. Later I studied at Kings to gain an MSc in research and ministry. I wouldn't describe myself as an academic, I love studying but for me it has to have a practical application. Outside of the circuit I serve on Probationers Committee, District Policy Committee and the Cliff College Fellowship.
I have a passion to see people grow in their own faith, to engage with scripture themselves and to provide opportunities for a variety of styles of prayer. I don't want to find clones of me around the circuit!
I live with my adorable Black Labrador Poppy, she keeps me fit as she insists on regular walks! I enjoy walking, reading and holidays as well as spending time with family and friends. I have two sons, three step daughters, two young grandsons and young a granddaughter.
