Hi, my name is Michelle. I have worked in the circuit as a part time youth worker since 2012 with most of my work being based at Trinity church, running a Youth Group for school years 6 and 7 and running the Trinity Sunday Club. During the summer holidays I work with a great team of volunteers to host a summer craft club for children of primary school age.
Alongside my role as youth worker, I have a second job as a Learning Mentor/Student Support Worker & Teacher for one of the local high schools, King Edward VI. My Support role within the school sees me working mainly with Year 11 students, supporting and mentoring them through their final year. I also teach Child Development and English within the school which is really exciting to do. I am co-lead for PSHE and careers throughout the whole school, which is very rewarding.
My three boys keep me busy when I am not working and I enjoy spending time with them.
I also enjoy crafting, reading, singing, listening to a wide range of music and I am a member of 'All Woman Choir'.
