Stafford Webteam: October 2017
Two young people from Trinity Church hosted a fundraising coffee morning on Saturday 7th October to raise funds for a trip to Borneo selling homemade cakes, cards and jewellery.
Kirsten Reade and Owen Mottram who are 6th form students at King Edward VI High School are part of a group of 10 young people travelling to Borneo in July 2018. During their trip, they will work with the local communities in some of the poorest regions of the country whilst also having opportunities to learn about the environment and the local Sun Bears and Orangutans.
They are actively raising money to fund the total cost of their trip and are really grateful for the support they have already received from Stafford Circuit and individual churches.
Watch out for their next coffee morning on December 2nd at Trinity — please come along and support their fantastic efforts!
