Following the call from Methodist Conference to begin the new Methodist year with prayer and fasting, we hosted four events throughout the day to enable people across the circuit to come together. We began with Morning Prayer at Rowley Street led by Revd Derick, and then Revd Nathan led prayers in Gnosall at 12noon and Berkswich at 3pm with the day concluding with Holy Communion led by Revd Pauline.
No matter how many of us gathered to pray it was a blessed time of encountering God and reminding us all of the importance of prayer and being hungry for God.
